The TrailNetwork is now open to the world. The walled garden has been removed and we invite everyone to view and share freely.
What does this mean?
- Visitors don’t need a MB account to browse the TrailNetwork. No login required!!
- Link directly to TrialNetwork and Digest activities. Link encryption has been removed, so you can copy the URL from the browser address bar. If the activity will be viewed by MotionBased newbies, you may want to use the “Link to this Activity” URL. It welcomes them with an invitation page that includes a brief explanation. The Email Activity function is also a great option for sharing.
- MB Standard customers need to login to access saved reports.
Why did we open the TrailNetwork?
- Make sharing MB activities easier
- Because we hate loging in too
- Spread the joy of new routes
- Allow search engines to index the TrailNetwork, unfortunately not. The TrialNetwork is javascript that crawlers/bots can’t read. Maybe someday?
Enjoy direct access to the world largest public database of personal GPS activities, the TrailNetwork uncovered.
In case you didn't notice, the Map View is now the default. The moment in time snapshot of the TrailNetwork is our favorite. We hope you like it too. If not, comment below. It's easy to change back. See the Table View by clicking the link in the left.
