That's great and all - but when are they going to be released? The 305 has been delayed how many times now? My wife just "pre-ordered" me one for my birthday - less than a week ago - and there is no known shipping date. :(

They are shipping. I picked mine up at Paragon Sports in NYC over a week ago. They are selling as soon as they come in though so Garmin may be shipping to larger markets first.

I know the feeling. I ordered my 305 a month ago on Amazon and they keep pushing the ship date out! The last one has passed and they haven't updated my order with a new time. The product page just changed from Apr. 1 to May 1 for release. :(

Chris: Thanks for the tip about Paragon Sports NYC! I went there today after work and they had five in stock. Amazon still wasn't shipping mine, so I canceled my order and got mine from Paragon.

UPDATE - 305 is in hand! I had a great experience with TVNav.com (auth. Garmin reseller) and sure enough, they got one to me in less than a week from contacting them. Can't wait to give it a run!
