While we've been updating the new site, Garmin Connect, over the last few months, most of you have not been able to see what's been cookin'. Well, we've got some good news for you. Yesterday, we launched support for the Edge 605 and 705 -- which should be hitting stores this weekend.
You will be able to upload to BOTH Garmin Connect and MotionBased utilizing the Garmin Communicator Plugin only. You are welcome to upload to both MotionBased and Garmin Connect, but keep in mind that you'll have duplicate activities to manage once the final merge of Garmin Connect and MotionBased is complete. For more information, check out the Garmin Connect Status page.

So if I'm reading correctly, then I'll be able to upload 205 data to Garmin Connect starting May 21?

That's correct Scott. Come May 21, all MotionBased users will transition to the Garmin Connect site where they will find their entire history and upload new activities.
Check out the Garmin Connect Status Page for complete details.

Had my edge 705 for 4 days and have spent hours trying to get my track off it as a gpx to put into memorymap to laydown on GB ordnance survey. I rang Garmin and didn't get a headsup on anyway of doing it. Sorted Connect but that did not help, then I looked at motionbased and great did it at last. Would be nice if I could do this using something on my PC rather than up to the web and back down again. BUT - big question having found I can do this with MBase but not Connect, will connect get the facility? PLEASE!
