Kathryn Krieger

Hi Paul,

Those with the Forerunner 201 will be able to upload to Garmin Connect when we launch in the coming weeks.

Brad

Great news. Thanks for the update.

Rich

Thanks for the timely update.

Eck

Has anyone see any migrated data on Garmin Connect?

JIm

Its nice to see events slowly moving over.
But theres problems with the dd/mm/yyyy date format, seems to be right everywhere except the reports section

Doug Curtis

I'm starting to see some of my events show up in Garmin Connect.

kd

what gives? one of the most popular devices (forerunner 305) is still left out?

Kathryn Krieger

Hi kd,

We have always planned to support all of Garmin's fitness line. From the GC Help Page:

At this time, Garmin Connect only supports the Forerunner 50/405 and Edge 605/705. Garmin Connect will eventually replace MotionBased to support the entire Garmin fitness product line.

We have stated this in numerous updates. We apologise if there has been confusion with this most recent update.

I have a Forerunner 305 and my activities are starting to migrate to Garmin Connect. That is very cool.

Thanks :)

Ed

another month and not complete still can not up load to Garmin Connect and on 50% not 80% is transfered...

Ed

Well is the update??? another month or 2 or 3 ????

Mike

What update? They sure are still trying to optmize a harddisk.
It is obvious that the focus is not on the 305. Garmin wants you us to buy a new device. I found the support for TC or the 305 nearly as bad as the joke that is called Motionbased.

"21 May 2008 - Garmin Connect to support all of Garmin's GPS USB devices."

You guys are an entire YEAR past your original release date. This is incredible. Not to mention that the updates are far and few between at this point.

Honestly, I've given up hope. I'm done waiting for MotionBased/Garmin Connect to support my 305 and I'll think twice before I purchase another Garmin fitness product.

I gave up on Garmin apps a while ago - left for SportTracks which is much better. I urge you to check it out.

Chris Hammond

What's the word on Forerunner 305 support for Garmin Connect?

Matt

Another update was posted today (May 22 2009).

Hopefully May 26th 2009 will be the day we have all been waiting for.

Donnie

Just purchased an FR60. Watch connects with ANT stick, but Garmin Connect neither recognizes my device nor does it list my device as compatible, contrary to how it is advertised. I don't know if the watch is defective, the website is having problems, or if they marketed the product before they were ready to have connection. Any info. would be appreciated.
